January 2017 Calendar

Sunday School is each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. Classes for all ages. Come study with us.

Prayer Service and Bible Study is each Wednesday evening at 7:00p.m.  Come and learn more about God with us. 

Treasurers of all organizations, please turn in the names and dollar amounts of contributions including dues paid by members to Sis. Alice Jones (amjones2351@comcast.net).

Church members please turn in your calendar dates to the Church Office staff by Sunday, January 15, 2017.

Willing Workers & Senior Mission Planning Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 8^th.      

Stephen Ministers Training will be held on Tuesday, January 10^th and 24^th and Saturday, January 14^th from 12 noon – 2:00 pm

The Education Committee encourages each member to annually contribute $15 toward  Education. Funds are used to support our students and graduates.

Current College and trade students are asked to see Sis. Sharon Osgood or Rev. Evaleen Sargent to  pick up your Fall Semester 2016 gift cards.

The Pictorial Journey Books for Pastor Sutton’s Retirement Celebration can be ordered today through September 11^th. This cost is $180.00 for Book #1 and $120.00 for Book #2. Please make your check payable to DHFBC Stephen Ministry and give it to Rev. Evaleen Sargent. This is not a fundraiser; books are being made available at cost.

The Atlanta Missionary Baptist Youth Luncheon is Saturday, September 10^th at 11:00 a.m. See Sister Julia Church or Sister Ruth Wise for Tickets and Details.
